Storm Dark grey clouds are looming,
Rain threatening to fall;
A stiff wind blows, and chills to bone
and the footsteps stall.

Grey meets grey as I glance up,
daring the sky to bleed;
Willing it to soak me through,
and to fulfill its need.

And then the deep grey falters,
and something up there cracks;
A pounding fills my abused ears,
as I fight to stay on track.

Sarah Williams rested a hand on her own growling stomach, wincing at the wild sound it made.

“Maybe we can find some berries or something,” she tried to keep her tone optimistic, but somehow she had a bad feeling she wasn’t going to find anything – for either her or her friends.
